Grilled Sausage and Waffle Sweet Potato Fries

Grilled-Sausage-and-Fries

Grilled sausage is one of my favorite things to eat from the grill. The crisp snap from the outside, the spicy inside and the overall smoky flavor from being cooked on a grill are things I love. To go along side the sausage I bought waffle sweet potato fries from the freezer aisle. I know what your thinking, this isn’t homemade and they probably are not as good as homemade, however I beg to differ (on the second argument anyway). You are right, they are not homemade, but they are all natural. I bought a brand called Alexia and they are delicious. I have tried their onion rings too and they are amazing as well. These fries cook up crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just like a waffle fry should. And being sweet potatoes, they have that extra sweetness about them but are healthy too. And you really cannot beat the easiness of opening a bag, throwing on a cooking sheet and tossing in the oven. You will not be upset after you try them. This meal is rather simple but sometimes you don’t need fancy to be delicious. Simply grill up some sausage and cook up some fries to go along side and you have yourself a meal the whole family will enjoy.
